How To Consign Using Lightspeed EVO

National Powersport Auctions (NPA) has partnered with CDK Global, a leading provider of integrated solutions to the motorcycle, marine, and recreation industries. Through CDK Global’s Lightspeed EVO software, dealers now have more effective tools to manage their business and can process a vehicle consignment directly to NPA.







Consignment Process

Once logged into Lightspeed EVO, find and click the “Sales” menu option at the top of the page. This will reveal a dropdown menu.

From the menu, scroll down and click “Major Unit Inventory.” This will load your current inventory list.

From the list, find and click the vehicle you would like to consign to bring up the vehicle summary page.

Once the summary page loads, find and click the “Value Guide” tab at the far right of the tab options.

A new page will open, showing several vehicle valuing platforms to choose from. However, the “Current NPA Value Guide” section will be pre-populated with the respective vehicle information for your review.


**Pro Tip: Contact NPA Transit to get a transportation quote BEFORE submitting the vehicle to NPA for consignment. This will help you understand the cost going in and evaluate the financial up side. Email Transit@npauctions.com

Once reviewed and ready to move forward, look to the bottom left of the page to find and click the “Consign to NPA” button.

A new “Consign Unit” window will pop up requiring additional information from you.

Enter your “Reserve Amount” in the reserve field. This is the minimum price you will sell your vehicle for during the auction bidding process.

Choose the “Reserve Type” from the drop down list and select “FIRM” or “CLOSE.”

*Close means the bid is within $200 of the reserve amount.

Then, select the auction facility “Location” you want to send the vehicle to.

Next, fill in your “Contact Name” & “Contact Phone

When finished, click “Submit to NPA” at the bottom right of the window.

New users may be prompted to enter their “NPA Login” credentials. Once entered, the consignment will be completed.

Upon completing a vehicle consignment with NPA, an NPA representative will receive the information and be in touch with next steps.

  • The vehicle data is electronically received by NPA and linked to the dealer’s NPA account.
  • The dealer will be able to see it in their NPA account inventory.
  • The dealer’s sales manager and the NPA title department will be automatically notified that a consignment has been entered into the system and contact the dealer
  • If the dealer needs help scheduling transport, they should contact NPA Transit at transit@npauctions.com
  • For a vehicle to be eligible for an auction, NPA must receive the vehicle and title ahead of time.
