We at National Powersport Auctions (NPA) are getting ugly. We want ALL your less desirable Trade-Ins—motorcycles, side-by-sides, ATVs, PWCs, and snowmobiles. We invite you to enter our UGLIEST TRADE-IN contest.

After listening to 20 group discussions, dealer visits, and industry feedback, we see that dealers need more trade-in opportunities. Every potential trade-in is potentially free money for dealers! We are ready to help all franchised dealers take those UGLY trades using our Direct Buy program.

THREE WINNERS EVERY MONTH

The fun started on April 1—no fooling. The last day to submit is July 31, 2024. Three Direct Buy units will be selected each month. Winners get their trade-in mounted on NPA'S UGLIEST TRADE-IN Wall of Fame and a Winner's certificate.

RULES

How to Enter
To qualify as an Ugly Trade-In Entrant, you must submit the vehicle through the National Powersport Auctions’ Direct Buy App. Type the words “UGLY TRADE” in the comments section. All powersports submitted through Direct Buy, including motorcycles, trikes, ATVs, side-by-sides, PWCs, and snowmobiles, will be considered for the contest.

REQUIREMENTS

The vehicle must run to be eligible for the contest, meaning the engine starts and idles. Standard Direct Buy requirements apply:

  • Title (where applicable).

  • Legible VIN on the unit.

  • A complete Direct Buy submission with pictures.

By no means does ugly necessarily mean cheap. We have seen some UGLY paint jobs on $25,000 bikes!
We still bid/buy non-runners, but those vehicles are not eligible for this contest.

JUDGING

At the end of each month from April to July, three Ugly Trade-In Entrants will be chosen by three ugly NPA Direct Buy judges.

WALL OF FAME


Winners are posted on NPA’s Ugliest Trade-In Wall of Fame and receive a coveted NPA’s Ugliest Trade-In Winner certificate. Submissions are posted on this Ugliest Trade-In webpage, in an email blast, and in social media posts. No other prizes will be awarded.
